What to Expect: Seasonal Opportunities and Safety Precautions
Beginning October 1, the Collard Ranch will serve as a premier hunting ground, requiring orange clothing for hunters to ensure safety. Anglers can cast their lines from May 1 to September 30, providing ample opportunity to engage with wildlife. Although camping is prohibited in this area, the day-use structure invites wildlife enthusiasts and casual observers to immerse themselves in nature. However, users must obtain a daily or annual state wildlife area pass before entry; a separate requirement from the Keep Colorado Wild Pass.
