Celebrate Workplace Excellence in Colorado
If you’ve ever wished for your workplace to be recognized for its outstanding culture, the opportunity is here. The Denver Post’s Top Workplaces 2026 initiative is welcoming nominations until December 12, offering organizations across Colorado a chance to shine. This esteemed award, now entering its 15th year, honors companies that excel in creating a supportive and engaged environment for their employees.
Who Can Participate?
Any employer in Colorado with 50 or more employees is eligible for nomination. This inclusive category means that businesses can be public, private, non-profit, educational institutions, or even government agencies. Anyone wanting to nominate a company can do so easily by visiting denverpost.com/nominate or by calling 303-261-8253.
The Importance of Employee Feedback
The selection process revolves around employee surveys — a brief, 26-question assessment that gauges satisfaction and engagement within the workplace. Companies will undergo surveying through January, with over 2 million employees from more than 8,000 organizations participating in similar initiatives nationwide. The importance of gathering employee feedback cannot be overstated; it helps businesses identify how they can improve and foster a better workplace culture.
What to Expect from the Awards
The final selections will be made by Energage, the Pennsylvania-based research firm supporting this initiative, which regularly assesses workplaces across 65 markets. The top 150 organizations will be recognized this spring, celebrating the commitment of Colorado companies to their employees' wellbeing and satisfaction.
With no cost to participate, companies have everything to gain from participating in the Top Workplaces initiative. This recognition not only boosts morale but also enhances a company’s reputation, potentially attracting and retaining top talent in a competitive job market.
Now is the time to make your voice heard! Whether you are an employee wanting to recognize your company’s efforts or a business leader committed to fostering excellent workplace culture, consider nominating your workplace today to be part of this celebrated recognition.
